In consists of 5 functional administrative offices: Office, Coal Administration Section, Safety Surveillance Administration Section, Politics and Engineering Section and Graphite Administration Section. It administrates its subordinate institutions and enterprises including: Chenzhou Coal and Graphite Law Enforcement Supervision Group, Chenzhou Coal Mine Security Technology Training Center (Chenzhou Coal Vocational School), Chenzhou Coal Mine Construction Design Institute, Chenzhou Villages and Towns Coal Mine Levy Office. In recent years, under the correct leadership of Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, with social vigorous supports, by persisting to scientific development view and safe development idea, it has done a good job in comprehensive rectifying and closing coal mines and gas mines, and has built a good coal mine security situation and stable development situation of coal industry economy, contributing greatly to the development of the whole city's economy and society.
